Amazon releases Prime Music

With music streaming companies like iTunes, Beats, Pandora, and Spotify gaining so much success, Amazon found it was time to create one of their own.

Amazon already has a streaming service for movies and TV shows, Prime, and is now expanding to stream music.

Prime Music has over a million songs available to subscribers with no additional cost to their existing bill, and has no ads.

In addition to these songs, listeners can play music from pre-programmed playlists with specific genres such as ‘Cooking With Classical.’

Prime Music is available online, and will be soon on Amazon’s Kindle devices. For iOS users, an app for Amazon Music will release, allowing users to download songs to their devices to be listened to while an internet connection is absent.
