Singer Chris Brown admitted to a judge Friday that he has violated his probation, and will spend another 131 days in jail.
Brown reportedly appeared in court in Los Angeles, confessing that he had gotten in a fight in Washington, D.C. last year.
The fight broke out after the singer punched a 20-year-old man in the face October 27 at around 4:30 A.M. outside of his hotel. As a result, both Brown and his bodyguard were arrested.
The probation Brown currently faces comes from his 2009 assault on singer and then-girlfriend Rihanna.
The R&B singer was originally sentenced to a 365 days of jail time, but had 234 of those days taken off due to his time already spent in prison.
TMZ reports that Brown could have received up to four years in jail, but since the singer has bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder, they cut the jail time and instead ordered that he attends therapy sessions twice a week and gets drug tested randomly throughout the week.
This is not the last of Chris Brown’s legal issues, however. The trial for his D.C. fight is set for a few months from now.
