Ever since AMC’s Emmy award-winning television series Breaking Bad came to an end, fans of the show have been building up their excitement for the spinoff prequel series Better Call Saul.
Returning to the cast straight from Breaking Bad are Bob Odenkirk, who played Saul Goodman, and Jonathan Banks, who played Mike Ehrmantraut.
Accompanying these returning actors are Michael McKean, Patrick Fabian, Rhea Seahorn, and Michael Mando.
Michael McKean is best known for his work in This Is Spinal Tap, and will play Dr. Thurber in Better Call Saul, a lawyer who is “restricted by an unusual affliction.”
Patrick Fabian can be recognized in The Last Exorcism and will play a successful lawyer named Burt who is a partner of the firm he is at.
Rhea Seahorn of Franklin and Bash is to play Beth, another attorney who is distracted by her love life and relationships with a co-worker.
Michael Mando is coming from BBC America’s series Orphan Black, and will play the role of Eddie, who is said to be a Spanish-speaking, intelligent criminal.
Better Call Saul is expected to premiere on AMC in November of this year, and for those who found and enjoyed Breaking Bad on Netflix, don’t worry– Netflix is already set to stream the show after it releases.
